Trixie

Trixie was born in 2022, a pup from our Remy and Star litter.  Jeff chose her to be his dog, and she definitely loves him as "her" person.  It is a beautiful thing to see her with eyes focused on him, and eagerly waiting their time together each day.

Trixie has wonderful focus in watching and tracking squirrels, is routine oriented, and loves nothing more than going to Jeff's office with him on weekdays.  

When outside, she is the one who silently sits and waits for squirrels or chipmunks on the ground, and swiftly leads the charge.  

Trixie is competitive with Steady, respectful of her mother Star, and mischievous with her sire Remy.  We chose her partly because we wanted another English Shepherd like her grandma Taffy, and she has plenty of those essential working dog traits.  Trixie could easily manage a farm on her own, if she had not stayed to be part of our "pack".

She is usually happiest at Jeff's feet, or as his undisputed companion. 

Trixie is Embark-clear for Mdr1, DM, PRA/PRCD, etc.  She is currently in the 50 pound range, at 2 1/2 years old.

We hope that Trixie will have one or two litters in the future, perhaps with Steady, or with a carefully selected male, for litter(s) with English Shepherd conservation in mind..
